Oxidation is a natural process in which both brass and silver occur over time. These stains can be easily removed with a soft cloth and a polishing cream. A more eco-friendly way is to use a cloth with a little lemon juice and baking soda. If you want to slow down your jewelry's oxidation process, avoid contact with moisture, water vapor, etc. and when not wearing it, keep it in a sealed plastic or cotton pouch.
